• Password Protection: All passwords are hashed using bcrypt with secure salt rounds - we never store plain text passwords
• Access Control: Only authorized PSC staff (Admin and Finance officers) can access member data
• Audit Logging: All data access and changes are logged for security and accountability
• HTTPS Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Ministry of Social Development: As required by our registration under Ministerial Decision No. 18/1994, we may share membership records with the supervising ministry
• Service Providers: Trusted third-party services (hosting, email delivery) that help us operate the portal, bound by confidentiality agreements
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government authority in Oman
• Emergency Contacts: Your designated emergency contact may be notified in case of urgent situations

We retain your data according to the following schedule:

• Active Members: Data is retained as long as your membership is active and for 2 years after expiration for potential renewal
• Unpaid Registrations: Applications without payment are automatically deleted after 7 days. A reminder email is sent 3 days before deletion.
• Payment Records: Financial records are retained for 7 years as required by accounting regulations
• Audit Logs: Security and activity logs are retained for 90 days, then automatically purged
• Rejected Applications: Data from rejected applications is retained for 1 year for appeal purposes
